In addition to refurbishing the hotel amenities, the project included a thorough reconstruction of the old part of the iconic Dubrovnik-based hotel, better known as the Villa Odak.

Renata Štrok, who has designed the interiors of other hotels in GS Hotels and Resorts Group in both Croatia and England, was also in charge of the interior design of Villa Odak.

The interior design of the Villa Odak displays a minimalist approach with warm, natural colours, dominated by ivory, lavender and sand nuances, so that the space wouldn’t impose itself on the rich and distinguished history of the hotel and its unique view of the Old Town of Dubrovnik. The presidential suite spreads at 157 sq metres of a luxury space. It consists of two separate bedrooms, spacious living room, two modern equipped living bathrooms and a gym area.

While working on this project, the designer was greatly inspired by a number of beautiful seagulls that like to visit the hotel guests on their room windows. These visits create such a unique and memorable artistic impression, which made the designer to call this villa the Seagull Wing.
